sony now uses plastic frame, and samsung uses metal frame. sony is milking its stubborn ... morePlastic frame may feel not premium in paper)(most people can't tell the different if properly integrated) , but it can help in case if drop, act as shock absorber
Metal is hard and premium, but suffer dent and might put pressure in the glass when dropped
Both has it pros and cons
