In Singapore, the street price is SGD$820 6GB/128GB with GST. that work out to be around US$600. RRP is higher, SGD$1K but its the same for all other phones. eg S8 RRP is SGD$1.1K, street is merely SGD$870. So shop wisely, don't blame HTC if you are too lazy.

Good deal, and well done to HTC. Although to stay quite competitive in this absolute competitive market it is almost a must to gradually cut some of the price. Included all the others: S8, G6, and so on.

That's actually a good price for this device, I like the U 11, it's the first interesting HTC in a long, long time. But in a world of bezelless phones it's hard to buy it.

As God as my witness... this handset was selling for 600$ on the US HTC website as the presale price. I know because I checked out the website myself. Hopefully, they'll knock off another 100$ within the next 100 or so days.

T... moreWell, don't forget, inflation, currency drop plus GST impact the price too tho, but for that spec and memory, it is still better choices than the S8 tho (In term of price and if you don't mind about waterproof and so on). Gonna keep checking mudah for better deal. :/

Misleading to say that this purchase is tax free. I paid tax for mine and I'm almost certain it depends on individual states.
