I may reluctantly stay with the S8+.

I use the pen mainly as a cursor for web browsing or editting stuff to share it with my contacts,the aspect ratio is fine for me, besides, i'ts not that bad since they are not reducing the screen width, it's just the height that it's increasing.

A big fuss on the fingerprint scanner placement. I use Google Smart Lock that keeps my phone unlocked while connected to my Bluetooth earphones. Locks when disconnected.
When I had the Note7, I used the iris scanner.
I'm getting the Note8 for the S Pen and camera upgrade I want and need coming from my Note 3.
Although I think sealed batteries and glass backs are a step backwards. I'm keeping my Note 3 with extended battery, and will use the Note8 as an extra device to take pictures.

screen all glass phone, Samsung has LOST the plot , and that long soap bar look design is atrocious. And $1K, LMAO.

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2017Finger print scanner in the same place? What the hell???? Samsung don't understand their mista... moreI tried the s8+ in an airport, I found my finger dropped right on the fingerprint sensor and it was obvious which one was the camera.

"About a month from now"? August 26th is 58 days from now. That's a heck of a long month.
Oh, and August 26th is on a Saturday. Do you really think Samsung is going to do a major release on a Saturday? Short answer- NO.

Another Samsung fail..for the price tag it's not worth it. My bank account will stay healthy, sticking with my trusty Note 4!
Changeable battery, sensible finger sensor and it's still the best against the rest.
