Make that camera section vertical and we could have had something decent.. the back just looks stupid with the scanner like that.

Well if we remember how ended note 7 this going to be same.
I hope so i am tired of these greedy companies who enjoy to rob people.
Anyway phone looks ugly maybe not as S8 but still is ugly.

I guess they don't want to use Qualcomm's new in-screen display, or that since they'll use some Exynos chips maybe Qualcomm refused to license it or the price is abused.

Actually this one is different. There's no large top bezel like on the CAD mockup and contrary to the article, it looks like the camera lenses, flash, heart rate monitor and fingerprint scanner are no longer on a solid block protrusion and are more flesh to the phone as seen on the S8 and S8+ (the cut out groove seems to suggest a concaved opening rather than one which is filled by a protrusion).

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2017You better not touch the camera accidently instead of the fingerprint sensor with dirty hands... Considering easy-to-crack edge screen, you got to use case, so camera bump because of bigger sensor wouldn't be bad choice. Lets, also hope second camera is not last new feature, new iphone is coming after all.

People can call it ugly if they want, they'll still line up to buy it in the end. I will skip this however, not a fan of that finger print scanner position. I might get the Note 7R instead.

I was so excited for Note 8!
And in one of the post from BGR.com showed that the fingerprint sensor is going to be on the back, below the camera sensor!
You can go ahead and see that on BGR!
All these rumours that states the fingerprint sensor is going to be right beside the camera sensor is scaring me!

Instead of under screen FPS, why not to integrate the heart rate sensor within FPS itself and put the whole assembly below camera module? It will look far better than this setup which also allows to put the cameras exactly at centre.
Also, judging by the layout, it seems that the second camera will not be aligned uniformly with centre of device like LG G5 or V20.(correct me if I am wrong though)
