Anonymous, 02 May 2011Out of all the people I know who own phones with a secondary camera, none of them use it. It's... moreHow often have you used your
Car Headlights?
Windshield wiper?
Brakes?
Samething goes with secondary camera...
We need it when we "need" it...
its not a disaster to include it in a phone...
the new os 7 , can it support blackberry torch hah , i felt so sad because i just bought this new blackberry torch and then RIM announced that they introduce the newest Bold into the family , urm as one of the blackberry user , i felt so sad because of this new hehehe. But anyway the new model kind of attract me because of its features and also design and technology built in it okay.
So basically RIM wants customers to go out a buy a new phone instead of just giving existing users an easy upgrade for their phones. I hate greedy companies.
jz, 02 May 2011Why BB has no 2nd camera? Is it BB dun find it useful? or They never able to find a way for th... morei guess because blackberries were designed as a messaging phone. push email, push messages etc, not a multimedia device with video phone capabilities. i have had phones with a secondary camera, and only used it once just to test that it really works. it works great, but i don't really need it.

In the age of 3g mobile why has not BB still come up with a Secondary camera. I have Storm, Pearl, Bold & Curve & find 3g services quite useful but the lack of front facing camera pinches me. Being a BB fan I would not want to switch to any other
well if iphone has a jailbreaker i hope BB phones has the same so even if you have an old model you can still change the OS .. just suggesting..
I am going to stay with BB but it is a shame that the 9780 JUST came out and is already not supported on the most recent OS. Like it is pitiful. But, I guess the business user-base of BB doesnt care about this.
OG iPhone hasn't been supported since halfway through iOS3.
my newly $700 BB Touch feels like n95 already. Outdated. Shame on Rim
It seams the tourch is going to be my last blackberry, is a discrase that a 6 months old device won't support the next os
Well, buying the Torch was a waste of money. Had my hopes up when I thought they might make it useful with the new OS and WIFI hotspot, but since that is no longer the case. I'm done with BB, next phone is iPhone and I am never looking back.
me also
quick someone shout fragmentation so the iphone crowd dont feel theyre being left behind, hmm ios does 4.2 work properly on the original iphone or is that fragmentation on their side of the fence?
gsmarena, take a good look at the pic. it's called "blackberry 7 os" and not "blackberry os 7"....
im confused.. this new fon will be like bold and touch screen? how small the sceern will be if it will be like bold 9700????
not even blackberry 9800 ? blackberry suck at os update. I think they should support 9800 about os 7 update
No many changes in OS 7 comparing to OS 6.
So this phone is not different too much than others now in the market as Bold 9780 and Curve 9300.
