Another day another scandal regarding OnePlus. First they lied, cheated and now they even refuse to accept their mistakes. They are making a bad name for themselves. So much for having high quality materials smh.

Zero, 30 Jun 2017Say that to the red tint of the device which is clearly a HARDWARE issue instead a Software on... moreApple managed to 'avoid' it because they have excellent quality control and charge a premium for it. I bet the AMOLED displays on the upcoming iPhone will be uniform across all their devices, it won't be a lottery.

Fortunately, my OP 5 doesn't have this issue. However, reading the statement from the company chilled me to the spine. Basically in Malaysian ways, they are saying "It's like that lor', and push away the responsibility.

So much hyprocrites I see here... OnePlus are making critical errors, but the rest of the brands are not saved by the controversy. Apple managed to avoid it since it was released earlier.

Oh OP5 owners, you are scrolling it wrong!

Well, what do you expect from a cheap Chinese phone? You get what you paid for. Want better quality and peace of mind, then get HTC U11.

I've seen all kinds of weird scrolling affects on phones and desktops. This is almost certainly a software problem. Either its in the OS or a video driver or it may be the browser app--it could even just be particular websites.

That's not to say they shouldn't look for a solution. But I just don't think it's the AMOLED panel at fault or the chipset or anything like that.

And wait, what did their PR just said?? It is normal since it uses high quality components including AMOLED display?? Then why the hell other phones with AMOLED display does not have this problem? And why it is an issue only with few OP5 devices and not all?

OP manufacturers are clearly making fool out of themselves and their users. Such a shame!!!!

I am glad i dont own OP. I never did in fact. I dont like chinese cuisine nor chinese brands;););) (Pun intended).

I love you more SAMSUNG and my S8.

Just because they use quality components and other phones have the issue doesn't mean it's normal. I've had many phones over the years and none of them have the jelly scroll. I just got the OnePlus 5 and mine has this issue. If they want to say it's normal then they can enjoy my phone being shipped back to them.
