For me personally, I cannot buy a phone that at a minium is not ip68 certified. I think this was a no brained and a Hugh mistake for a flagship phone, the number of times its so easy to accidently get a phone wet and the problems this causes. I waited for this to come out to compare to xz premium buts its no contest, I'd rather pay the extra and at least know that when accidents do happen, I'm not going to be busted. Sony xz Premium for me.

What record you talking about? Microsoft been telling Luminous selling out. End numbers will talk for themselves. While OnePlus sells 10 phone, Samsung sells 1000$

One more thing, the Exynos version of the S7 Edge has the CPU performance as the SD835. Though the 3D graphics is superior, I don't game much and there are of lot good games doesn't require a powerful GPU.
Battery life remains the same as the flagships this year have reduced battery capacities.

In this price range..one plus 5 is the best phone.we cannot get everything like qhd,water resistant or dust resiatant like Samsung S8 or pixel etc..see the price difference among these.
Still a good deal..I am a Samsung phone user.but one plus future seems awsm.I uesd one plus 3t for some days and it was awsm..no hanging, good battery life...keep it up..OnePlus.!!👌

et's face true - OnePlus became average company with usual Chinese cheap phones problems. And 5 isn't flagship killer anymore, it's just OP flagship. Overpriced, glitchy, cheated and badly supported. And they've lost own unique design, became just shameless copycat. It's really sad after perfect 3&3T. Don't think next phone will be attractive to me, now there are a number of more affordable but better in specs&design flagships. And this number will increase in time. So OP lost it's trone forever. Disappointed company.

No smartphone is perfect but I prefer 1+ stick with 3T kamera and add waterproofing in 1+5 it will be nice selling point because 3T camera already above average. Also 256 GB storage version will be great despite there's no MicroSD slot.

Jokes apart, I think we're being a little too picky abou... moreBy no means they are a small. BBK is their parent company and OPPO,VIVO are its siblings.
Every major / minor event across the country are sponsored by OPPO / VIVO. They have phones looking similar in design (except logo at back, soc' pricing and software name).
Purchase invitation is only a gimmick by one+ to position themselves as premium and 'selective' company. They never acknowledge that they have siblings that are 'easily available' with pathetic quality.

Jokes apart, I think we're being a little too picky about this phone. Getting a phone with SD 835 at this price is still a pretty good deal. So far I haven't noticed the jelly effect on my device, and am completely satisfied with the camera at this point, leaving aside the low light performance.
As far as customer service is concerned, I recently had a bout with OP customer support. I won an early invite code in their lucky draw that enabled me to buy the phone from their site before July 27th with a free case. For some reason my account got blocked due to which I was unable to use the code and had to order from Amazon without the case. They resolved the issue yesterday after determining it was defect in their website and have ordered me a case at no cost.
They're a small company that has come a long way in a short time. It is only natural that they'd be a topic of controversy at this point.
