And another is the integration of 3D Facial Recognition.

You know, it doesn't cost a cent to cut the phone owner's finger, but it will be a challenge to look exactly like the phone's owner.

People can finally STFU about Sony's bezels now...they can finally realise how good the phone is and not base every opinion on their personal distatse for the design.

I'll wait for a leaked picture until i don't think sony will release an 18:9 display phone or they might as they have two upcoming flagships one might be 16:9 5.2 in display and the other migh be a 6 in 18:9 display with basicall same feature sand specs different aspect ratios

Now, new cycle begins with XZ1, XZ1c and XZ1U. In february comes XZ1 Premium.

The standard 5.2" comes every 6 months. Compact is yearly.
Premium may be every 12 months or 18.

XZ1 Ultra... But screen is not 100% of front.

XZ1 Premium has 100% screen, FPS and front cam beneath screen

AnonD-504401, 30 Jun 20172160 x 1080? There's no way this is Flagship, this must some type of high end mid ranged phone.if you're not using your phone for vr then anything more than 1080 is overkill and worse for both performance and battery life.

Hopefully, hopefully Sony will finally get rid of those horrible bezels, it will be a miracle. And if Sony will really incorporate that kind of display and at the same time keep its same philosophy of arming its flagships with the current best and latest specs, then we'll really gonna have a honourable competitor for the the S8 duo, G6 and all the others including the Note 8, V30 and even the Mi Mix 2 and so on. So Let's hope that everything will be true.

Redfoot, 30 Jun 2017Sony have such a confused phone range. Can't they just have 1 or 2 flagships per year? If thi... moreIt's simple though.(at the very least simpler than Samsung)
1. XZ PREMIUM.XZ.XZs (flagship 800 snapdragon)
2.XA.XA ULTRA(midrange mediatek)
3.Xperia L1 (entry level mediatek)
3.XPERIA tablet (latest is z4 tablet but there would surely be a next one since their still supporting the older one) (flagship tablet 800 snapdragon )
4.(THE X lineup which was called premium standard which Sony said they would discontinue.but maybe a replacement???600 snap)
But I do admit there are a few names.
Z turned into XZ so its basically the same. Before we didn't have premium but Z Ultra which was a 6.4 inches Z.premiuim started with z5.
and there was the C LINEUP which was 6 inches.with mediatek.
Also E(1-5) lineup And M and T(1 and 2)which used 200 400 and 600 snapdragon.
(real past there was SP and t and V)
So u could say they even simplified the names! U should check these phone and kinda know them but with the new names.its too easy
Xa ( a start (mid Ranger with mediatek)) Xz (z end of everything ( snapdragon 800 series)flagship ) (premium 4k) ultra (6 or 6.4 inches)(compact 4.7 inches) ( there was also X which I said was said is omitted but it was a midranger with snapdragon 600 series)
So u could even say it's a language.

If this is true though could be a sweet phone.
Problem is Sony will probably release yet another phone to replace it in 3 months time!
