I don't think the resolution of 2,040 x 1,080 is a discrepancy, considering it its the same 17:9 screen resolution of the Mi Mix.

And that's horizontal and not vertical. If I sit down I don't need to remove phone from pocket.

It's about the same size as 5.5" iPhone Plus. Sharp has always been ahead of others with this kind of design, very nice - other than the brick-like look.

2. Pop up camera.
3. Transparent display at camera part (one way display so camera could hidden behind display).

It's a big shame though that Sharp are so afraid to tackle the global market since due to Xiaomi, Samsung and Apple's dominance.

Yes Sharp is the first. I'm still using my Sharp SH-04F from 2014 and design wise it's still light years ahead of any thing available.

I want bazelless phone that has maximum of 5 inch screen and full body size will be less then Samsung A3 4.7" screen phone. Or a 5.5 inch that has the body of the size of a 4.7" screen phones have that fit in your front pocket in your pants.

Sharp is one of the best in Japan. Too bad they don't go worldwide and start producing highend flagships.

Yes, if there's someone who first really deserves a congrats, etc. Definitely Sharp is one of the most if not even the most. So obviously looking forward for these two models, although they don't include the SD835, etc.

I literally find it funny that most the comments here are talking crap about the handsets here. The models allegedly will support upper middle class chipsets, that are newly minted. They are being semi-heckled, for reasons that are unbeknownst. Well thus is life.

This phone will be an eye catching in the public. Almost all screen and great design just like Xiaomi Mi Mix, except the front camera position.
