Anonymous, 03 Jul 2017A phone from Samsung is never good value for money!I'm afraid your are mistaked. . .Here in Portugal, an used S5 (SM-G900F) costed about 180€ last year and now it costs about 170€, so its value has decreased only 10€! The only thing I think Samsung should do is optimize their software, like OnePlus and Apple do. I do also think they sell their phones a little bit overpriced, but when you buy a Samsung you buy a reliable phone with a great hardware quality. The Note 7's battery was just 1 mistake, like everyone mistakes. Overall, I like Samsung.

Look at their sizes. . .now, here in Portugal, if the S8+ costs 919€ and the S8 costs 819€, then the S8 mini will probably cost 719€. However, I think Samsung should launch the S8 mini with the new Snapdragon 660 and put a price no more than 619€ here.

iPhone 7 top edge of the screen is 121 mm from device bottom edge.
S8 top edge of the screen is 141 mm from device bottom edge.
Full 2 cm further than iPhone 7.
S8 feels like iPhone 7 Plus.
iPhone 7 Plus is 158 mm tall. Top edge of the screen is 140 mm from device bottom edge, putting it right into usability of S8.

Hopefully, the S8 mini will be real. We have had rumours of S6 mini & S7 mini but alas nothing has materialised since the S5 mini.

Bill , 04 Jul 2017I am tired of seeing the same add. I have all the info I need. Thank You. I too am tired of this rumored item and/or controlled leak... however the render looks cool. I am guessing that, if this unit sees the light of day and is a success, then next year, we will see a mini S9, with another rumor mill item: the Snapdragon 836. Seems possible, considering that Apple and Sony make sub 5 inch units.
