oooh nooo i want amoled lcd panel from redmi pro and also front fingerprint scanner under lcd, not rear(like other redmi phones..i hate it), so pls ,xiaomi do that! otherwise i will be need and forced to go to similar equiped snap 660 oppo R11 which is much more expensive.. :(

Well, definitely it is interesting to see which model will sport the near-bezel-less display. But PROBABLY yes, the "X1" is just Xiaomi's internal codename for the Redmi Pro 2, we'll see then. And despite independently which one it will be, the idea that it will include a (almost) bezelless display, the quite new SD660, and options of 4GB/64GB, 6/64, & 6/128 among other mid-range or better premium-mid-range, is really interesting for its price-to-performance segment. So looking forward to it, and oh, almost forgot, looking forward for the Mi 6 Plus as well. And it will be interesting to compare it with the OP5, even more than the smaller one, now probably we'll have an equal 5.5" Vs 5.5" as well to compare, plus that now we already saw the OP5, Xiaomi knows with what it will be compared. Let's see then.

Then that is a whole another story. To my own acknowledgement, xiaomi phone pretty much all look the same. At least to me they didn't full copy other phone. They just go for the universal design. Their famous phone redmi note 3 and 4 , I don't see any phone that look like that. Except some Chinese cheap crap with crap chipset.
