AnonD-27765, 04 Jul 2017Exynos 8895 is more powerful and efficient than SD835. It doesn't overheat at all.CPU side its dont throttle at all just like SD835.
For GPU its can loose up to 50% over 30 min of heavy gaming ( SD835 loose 10% ) so for gaming snapdragon is still the boss.

Spike1, 04 Jul 2017Why would Sami limit the 4K to 10 min? May be because otherwise it will heat up! The last thing Sammy needs is thermal throttling issues. Speaking of 4K... why is Sony the only company with not one but two models with a 4K display (albeit only part time)?

and 99% of people will be recording their dogs/cats or make shaky videos of their friends and then delete it anyway... and all that in 4k....
Most of people will never actually send that 4k video anywhere. And if they send it, they send it to facebook that will lower res and compress it anyway...

Spike1, 04 Jul 2017Why would Sami limit the 4K to 10 min? May be because otherwise it will heat up!Actually Sammy can record 10min 4k videos successively, but not in one instance. Guess its their way to prevent overheat.
On the other hand in about 4 to 5 10 min successions it heats up and starts to loose fuctionality, like framedrops, stutters and stabilization issues while recording...
Problem is, a Samsung phone never actually warns you it needs to cool down due to heat, so overheating is most probable if one continues to record. And when it overheats, you better watch out for that oled screen, cause it tends to get instant burn ins.
All of these problems are viewable on yt.

a Slow-Mo function that when you use it in a Low-Light you can't even see person, it is only good if you're outside with bright light :'( I'm so sad. :'(

The irony here is Sony's Cybershot rx100 IV / V shoot shorter, much shorter times than some of Sony's phones. Mind you, it's a $1000 dedicated camera.
Sure, it writes with twice the bit rate but you would think they address this in a much bigger body. Pathetic Sony, always cripples there produce after 1995
