Nokia will announce this phone soon, but we have to wait it till in Europe next year. :)
AnonD-103774, 06 Jul 2017Amazing video with such a great marketing stunt.
The legend monster is coming back very soon.... moreExciting times ahead.
But keep in mind the "PureView" naming may or may not return as it was sold to Microsoft. I REPEAT THE NAMING only.
Jimmy, 06 Jul 2017They will this phone in upcoming months... and will sell after 2 or 3 years... like NOKIA 6https://twitter.com/nokiamobile/status/882860435057156096
It's coming this year.
Nokia 6 was launched in China in January
3, 5 & 6 were announced at MWC 2017 (Feb 26) with a promise of Q2(which is passed)
but the phones did indeed launched many places and running for others all well.
even then it'll be 4-6 months(since the announcement) and not 2-3 years.
Though you should consider that starting again on a global level isn't going to happen in a snap and from now onwards the future phones will probably me available in the market sooner because all the retailer distribution and stuff would be sorted which at the time of 3, 5 & 6 would've probably been one problem.
AnonD-638825, 06 Jul 2017Yes!
Quite awesome to say the least. Im not very happy tough with the usage a Xiaomi cpu :/... moreAssuming you're saying that after reading about the Surge S1 rumour.
That was a fake News
There was a deal between Nokia & Xiaomi, not for the chipset but rather AR, VR, etc
Also, Nokia gave access to some patent to use for Xiaomi and probably some help for the access to enter into Europe Market.
I do want a 1/1.5" sensor, but not with 41mp resolution.
Damn it, Sony's a9 mirrorless only has 24.2mp LMAO.
-1/1.5" sensor, Sony's 5-axis EIS (Balanced Optical SteadyShot)
-2um pixel size
-a good 2-3x lossless zoom
And I'm gonna be sold, given the processing will be as natural and not as ridiculous.
Ibrar, 06 Jul 2017Huawei v Nokia v LG v Everything elseSony sells sensors, not the lenses
Quite awesome to say the least. Im not very happy tough with the usage a Xiaomi cpu :/, wish they sticked to Qualcomm or better yet a partnership with Samsung for Exynos CPUs lolz.
Hope to see Sharp Aquos worldwide because it uses "GR Certified" lenses
Anonymous, 06 Jul 2017we can expect this mobile in july next year The title of article clearly stated "coming this year"
Anonymous, 06 Jul 2017we can expect this mobile in july next year This year not 2018, Nokia nummer 1 again soon
Bebe Rexha, 06 Jul 2017Leica vs Carl Zeiss vs Schneider-KREUZNACH vs Sony GHuawei v Nokia v LG v Everything else
Awesome! Finally! Sensors have improved a lot since the 808 but we need this partnership to happen as Nokia truly knows how to post process their images. Google Pixel is almost the only phone that has a natural and realistic image quality but their software lacks manual mode and OIS, sadly, so ISO is pushed so high in each image.
Hopefully Nokia can release something very soon, and hopefully they give us the option of a 4.7 to 5 inch device.
Bebe Rexha, 06 Jul 2017Leica vs Carl Zeiss vs Schneider-KREUZNACH vs Sony GHaha really tough (healthy) competition, haha excellent.
and it will come to most countries in mid to late 2018...and never to the U.S. due to limited radio frequencies, wahooo.
They will this phone in upcoming months... and will sell after 2 or 3 years... like NOKIA 6
Definitely a good news, not just for old and new Nokia fans, but for the general technology and in this case, mobile photography, etc. It seems almost absolutely sure that this year we'll see a very healthy competition in the camera department (& everything else too) mostly dual camera setups, between all the best brands and more: Note 8, V30, Pixels, iPhones, Nokia 9, Mate 10- Leica and much more. Who knows which camera (dual setups) will finally be the really best of all??? Exciting.
