People critics on it but....
Probably you have seen pics taken by non-photographers, mainly youtubers. An updated to deliver eis for 4K has been given.
Most of people test auto only. You guys forget but, auto mode of any phone does not succeed all the time. Sometimes they fail to recognize the environmental conditions then end up choosing settings not that correct.
That is why manual exists...
For low light, no auto will ever use slower shutter speed like 2s, 4s etc... Maybe 1/2s or 1/3s. If you have a Sony it recognizes when it is stabilized then SS goes 1/1s. Not more.
Also on auto ISO wants to go pretty high.
Talking about ISO , if phone can reach 6400 or 12800 there is a reason, you shoud not set 50 or 100 for all situations ..
Lot of people use the led flash at night, no matter if it's necessary or not.
If people there are paid like some here say, i wonder why Galaxy and iphone do not have higher scores. Best sellers among tested phones, the two OEMs that spend tons of dollars on advertisement.

The report is hilarious. They show the horribly blurry and noisy images taken by the op5 (in daylight, mind you)
, alongside the clear images by S8 and Pixel (pixel was a bit blurry too, but had all the details), and they say fine detail matches with its competitors. I think they're trying to hint that they were forced to write that review. xD

Well, this year's OnePlus 5 (or better this Gen of OnePlus) is slightly more difficult to judge than the previous one's (2, 3, 3T, etc., Because they were really worth it, so clearly a "killer" and so the judgement was much easier to be fine), mainly just because of the increased price (mostly). Because now with this increased price, first we have to determine what really is the OnePlus 5, based on the price-to- performance (mostly the price), I mean, it is a flagship "killer," or only a flagship? like all the others, S8, G6, XZ Premium, U 11, etc. First we have to determine this, to then eventually start giving a more appropriate judgement.

And now DxoMark lost it credibility, i have seen pictures from Oneplus 5 and its not upto the mark in low light.
i dont need huge megapixel pictures on my phone, just give us cleaner images.

Only the photo taken by S8 looks sharp!

1+5 camera is good but not great. DxO is fake, 1+ are liars and cheaters. Pics with such iso and noice can't compete to that scores.
