I just wish they can start making smaller phones again. (With flagship specs)
why is there no talk of the sony with their 2160p displays. isnt the topic about resolutions. and what about htc hd, the windows 6 phone?
I can't adapt to new smartphones. I still have my 3000$ Motorola DynaTAC 8000X.
Best cellphone ever, still proud of it
fm, 10 Jul 2017May be you know the answer already. I don't even recognize any HTC phone in the line-up.That is the reason for this article.. To remember the forgotten past.. And to educate the young uns the history of mobile phone
Back in the days, tv were big and men was slim. Now tv are slim while men are getting fat. Phones had lower resolution and bigger batteries. Now it's higher resolution and smaller batteries. Evolution is going the wrong way. When the mobile phone came out, it needed a big external battery to stay alive. Now phones are again in need of a external battery to survive a normal day.
Obi Wan Kenobi, 10 Jul 2017Sony Z5 Premium & XZ Premium deserved at least a mention. They use 1080p most of the time. Fake high ppi.
Bebe Rexha, 09 Jul 2017Z5 Premium of 2015, 806 ppi LMAO 4K available only for multimedia content in Z5 Premium. Otherwise 1080p.
So, 2014 was the year plus phones overtook regular phones, I wonder how long until phablets become the norm.
What an article. I like the idea of focusing screen and resolution. Its a huge change after all.
8000dpi tech already exist. 3D screens on the way. AR market growing. Kinda miss Moore's law, also better battery tech.

2K is somehow above FHD , I mean QHD or WQHD
Sony Z5 Premium & XZ Premium deserved at least a mention.
