I really love IPhone. But its getting bigger in term of size and also the price. So i prefer 'S' version, please come out as soon as possible! Can't wait for the excitement!

Why not place the fingerprint sensor in apple logo? They can come up with under screen fingerprint sensor in.... I don't know another year may be when they launch iPhone 8s.

Obtaining a patent in the US does not guarantee international protection of your intellectual property—USPTO patents are only effective in the US. There is no "international patent" that will protect an invention all over the world.

Glass and plastic are coming back into the market because metal cases cause antenna problems, especially in 5G. Unibody metal cases are going to become rare.

And gossips say ... moreSony disable it by software cause they doesn't owned the patent and they knew if they enable it for US market and Apple got the patent officially, then Apple would bring this issues to the court and stop Sony from selling their phone that have FPS on the power button in the US...its not about carriers issues cause if it is then Apple wouldn't able to get the patent...

Not this year.
And gossips say this was due to an old contract between Sony and a famous wireless carrier.
The carrier version of Z3+ got even cancelled...

Seems almost every smartphone company is going back to glass.
aside from that i'm pretty sad to see the return of glass on smartphones.
I never wanted one and never had one.
Rather have a sturdy phone than one that breaks when it falls

Anonymous, 11 Jul 2017regardless of the hardware, the ios is the main feature of the iphone that no other have. im u... morePoint is they got own system, best single-core performance, (only) internal memory. Also its optimized for max FHD instead of QHD. Competition got almost same performance in both, but proc. is made with hi-res in mind so that also helps. As for processor, few brand-custom may rise, as for OS, there is only W10 and still in works, besides google's android in pixels. Samsung is also pretty solid, that is besides OS and multicore proc., its made for better battery endurance, but its not like it can boost freq.. I'm yet to see desktop ones without turbo boost - mean most powerful ones, one core still leads.

How can you have patent about something that exists already and yiu d... moreApple filled the patent a few month before Sony release the phone with FPS on the power button and got the patent approve within this year....that is why Sony remove the FPS for US sales cause they don't want to involved in a tug of war with Apple...Yes Motorola was the first that comes out with the idea but sadly they never official filled a patent for it...
