Worthless bixby. Not working properly, lags everytime I accidentally open it. Of course I've remapped it to "Home Screen". I wish the button never existed, as I sometimes press it instead of the On/Off, when not looking at the phone

This is my main issue with Samsung phones.... They include a bunch of useless crap that is entirely redundant to Google services and lately they have been very limiting to what you can customize...

I think the S8 will be cheaper if Bixby was not included...
Samsung we have google for the Virtual Assistant feature already, just forget it...

I could see myself using Bixby one day if it becomes useful but even then, I hit the button by mistake way too often while handling the phone.
All I want is disable the button so I don't hitwhen I don't want to or at least have an option to long (long long) press it if I really want Bixby (or whatever else).

I fing Bixby totally useless. Living in Finland doesn´t help at all, even english language doesn´t work, let alone finnish, nor can I use english if I wanted anyway... Then what the bixby is now showing me, some news, healt widget, step counter, daily alarms, calendar event... I don´t need a dedicated hardware key for that, besides, I accidentaly press the button sometimes. I can´t see what samsung is winnig here when they don´t allow us to remap that key, since it is not even essential for phones operations.
I could use bixby button for such as opening a browser, music player, facebook or Polar Flow for syncing my sportwatch...
