But the question remains: Will the update brick every single one of these phones? Must be nice using that Companion-software once again just to bring your Sony back alive until next update is released. :-)

Xperia XZ owner here in Canada using a UK phone with fingerprint sensor enabled just got the update today with July security pack from my carrier not bad, will wait for the price for the XZ Premium to go down before considering updating this phone is perfect so far

The previous version slowed down the phone's speed quite a lot. Even my older Xperia Z3 was faster than how the xperia xz is performing. I hope this version fixes the issues with the older update
