Companies know that digital camera photography is major part of the smarty pants handset experience for many users. Consumers' benefit from good research and development. Bear in my each manufacturers equipment has strengths and weaknesses.

It may come as a shock t... moreAlso if this is even true, the other phones companies can rival them easily for the future release, especially if they don't release it on the iphone 8. Samsung has an insane amount of patents compared to everyone else. They probably have something for this already, the S8 wasn't a big step up to the s7, aesthetically yes. Maybe the Note 8 will show something.

It may come as a shock to you, but there are improvements to technology all the time and this could be a further improvement. You don't know anything until the product is announced.

Everytime there is a new feature leak on an iPhone, people like "It is already done by this and that" ...in the end Apple copies....
When an iPhone costs 700-800$ then ohh its very costly , overpriced etc but when galaxy comes with 900$ and above then wow what an innovation.
Copying is something a brand does which is illegal which Samsung did with S2 and paid hefty price for it. Including wireless charging, facial recognition, bezel less display etc are not part of copying . These are just features which every brand should include to be in the competition.

As a galaxy S8 user I agree it has the best design display and design right now but S8 is Samsung flagship from 2017 and Apple's 2017 iPhone is yet to come. Its nice when you have range of great devices to choose from.

Same as what Tango already have.
All you need to use it for AR on a LG G3 would be a software thats could access it and thats its.
Making a software for an already existing hardware is the right way to see this 3d laser crap.
