So totally useless buying MI products anywhere else in... moreBeen buying their products (not just phones, but also powerbanks, bands, earphones, bags even lightbulb) since 2013, neither of them officially (well, there are some which are official, but I still prefer buying non-official ones due to cheaper price). Totally worth it, you can freely laugh at competitor's device of much higher price but lower specs. None of them are useless.

When you are connected to an LTE network with data on all the time for real time notifications and updates to weather and news widgets, when you play games and watch youtube, then you'll know how horrid the Samsung's true endurance is. 4100mAh cannot possibly be defeated by 2350mAh. Battery capacity is battery capacity. A phone's ultimate endurance is ultimately measured not in light use but in heavy use where the screen is on several hours a day with LTE always on for Facebook, youtube, browsing, and gaming.

Wow, the redmi line has come quite far from a basic smartphone with low end SD400 and minimal storage (16GB max). SD6xx? 64GB option? I wonder which corners are being cut though. I mean even the Mi Max doesn't have much better spec than those.

My family has a redmi note 1 ,2 and 3 and a S7 edge , J7 2015 and A5 2016 and all these Samsung phones have around 2-3z x endurance than the redmi phones despite having similar battery capacity. Redmi note 2 has 3000mah which is same as J7 2015 and 100 more than A5 2016 but the on screen time for redmi note 2 is at most 5hrs while J7 is 12 hours and A5 is 9 hours. Tested myself.

The best variant of Redmi 4 (Redmi 4 Prime - SD625) with 4100 maH battery can endure 1.5 day of general daily use (based on my gf experience). So its really doesnt matter to me if the this new Redmi has slightly smaller battery. I charge it daily anyway. Really eager to have one.

Looks good. New build SD630 64gb 4gb 1080p a bit smaller battery but it's worth it.

Probably the rumors about the Note 5 getting a... moreI don't mind the smaller battery as long as they put in an efficient chip. And it seems they did. That being said, I hope they add more features for the lack of battery, because there should be more room inside.
