The source link mentions nothing of this. All it says is that 1st gen devices now get 2nd gen look (redesigned Fire TV on-screen experience), and that all FireTV devices now get a data monitoring tool, a PIN Protect Prime Photos App option that has been added to Fire TV parental controls preferences, and a new "Recommended by Your Apps" row on the Home screen featuring content recommendations by supported apps.
