In fact, you'll always look at the front of your phone more than on its back, so the front should look just as unique and as original as its back.
And may I be clear that I'm not a Nokia hater. I do adore every manufacturers because of their efforts, but from the Nokia that I've used to know before, this Nokia is a lot different now.
If they can incorporate a revolutionary design on their upcoming flagship, I'd rate it as one of the best classic designed phone of 2017 along with Xperias with their awesome crafted look.

Literally those phones look as typical... moreSadly almost all phones look so similar nowadays, ever since touchscreens took over. However I disagree that this new Nokia looks very typical. From the back it looks like a Lumia, and according to reviews of the 6 and 3 they 'feel' solid like old Nokias - that's a very promising thing to hear and make them distinguishable. Still, they look WAY more original compared to the latest HTC, Xiaomi, and Pixel phones, which look like iPhone rip-offs. I agree though that Sony are the one making the most original different looking phones now, but luckily Nokia is doing quite well too.

Everyone can creatively design a small bezel device, and can potentially look better than Samsung while also being different at the same time.
Creativity and wide imagination are the issues here, or should I say the lack of them.
They don't need to add as such, they just need to craft a device according to their imagination and creativity.

AnonD-684988, 16 Jul 2017Overpriced trash.. . They're just using brandname to fool people. Yeah especially if your preference is Xiaomi so that's true. Nokia isn't competing to chinese companies that sells at lowest segment and in fact nokia and Xiaomi is in joint venture of patent licensing. Nokia is after Samsung.

Even to put larger screen to body ratio would make everything looks straight copy of S8
Camera layouts being the only thing safe to assume to have many possible variations and nokia did just right other than to exploit the premise of build quality which only be participated by flagship brands.
Designers had unlimited choice to design back then because the use of physical keyboards so it gives much variations to tweak on the aesthetic sense, now there is nothing to be added as such, blackberry is the only brand being creative to add up physical keyboard to standout its design language but guess what, not everyone is into that so we could only deal with it.

But generally speaking, it's quite rare (not the norm) that someone review those kind of phones. Although I can tell you that as specs it's not bad. But generally if you want the review (or sort of) of that phone, MAYBE you will be lucky enough if you find that kind of review on a Vodafone's site, etc.

Hmm well, honestly I think that it is a bit too low-end as specs, and even if I do an effort to keep in mind that it costs about just €200. But let's say that at least it is quite good for those on a super super budget.

Nokia, 16 Jul 2017All phones look same except for the size. Uninspiring.That is what you call consistency. Back in the days, the Lumia, Asha and other feature phones had the same design language and looked similar. Thats how you differentiate Nokia phones from others.

Very eager to read the full review. Wondering if the camera and battery life is good as there were issues with the Nokia 3. As the P10 lite and a5 2017 came out a while ago these have now fallen in price and are alot closer in price to the 5. The j5 2017 is out too so the 5 is going to have to be very good to hold its own.
