Needs a much bigger battery for the size of the phone it should support it no problem. Edge display is anoying especially for screen protectors and jelly cases they keep pushing the protectors up on the edges. Edges get crazy dirty easy. For a crazy expensive phone it just does not seem like it is worth the money even as a 3 year keeper.
I will look elsewhere myself money is not worth it for Note 8. I expected a much better design and higher end ram and storage for what they want to charge $$$ for it.

Hopefully it won't have a stupid 18:9 or 18.5:9 aspect ratio like the recently rumored and released flagships. I mean, if these 18:9, 18.5:9 and other ultrawide aspect ratios become mainstream, we may face the future possibility of youtube videos followed by hd tv broadcasts, pc operating systems, lcd tvs, monitors and tablets and ultimately books, pocketbooks and notebooks having this 2:1 ratio.

Hope Samsung will not make the same mistake and the Note 8 will have the fingerprint scanner next to the camera and NOT underneath it...if it will, then Samsung makes bad decisions and doesn't care about the customers feedback...

Did they ever bring back the ability to write on the calendar? That was a feature they stopped making after the note 4 and I use it a lot to pencil in things before I enter them into my phone manually.

I remember when Note devices were different from their S counterparts. Nowadays it's almost impossible to distinguish different brands, let alone phones from the same company.
Also, GSMARENA, please start using screen surface area to determine screen size. It's been proven 6 inch with the weird aspect ratio is actually not bigger than 5,7 with a normal 16:9.
