So, the differences between this and the moto g5 plus are that this has a .3" larger screen and dual cameras of unknown quality.
No thanks, I'd keep the regular G5 Plus, every time.

Let's hope, they don't skimp on the compass sensor this time for the indian version. Its plain stupid to have dual cameras and what not and skip something as basic as a compass sensor. It really pissed off a lot of people including me. And yes, the battery better be more than 3000 mah if they really want to make a point by launching an s version with bigger screen.

Anonymous, 15 Jul 2017these model numbers are getting confusingyeah very funny, nokia down, sammy struggle with xiaomi, huawei and friends, but leno still chose same path fill every segments in market but sacrifice service. before motorola update only 2nd faster to nexus.
just follow google SOP: market nice X, G, E but great faster update, more capable service center. what do you think motorola lovers?

With these specs (for mid-range segment), if the G5s Plus will have an affordable price (& probably it will), it will make/be another pretty success for Moto (Lenovo) like its sibling the E4 Plus. (especially in India) but elsewhere too.
