Feature phones are a great help for Senior citizens hence a bigger screen (2.4" or bigger) with a durable keypad (one which will not lose digits/characters with time) are a must along with a decent battery.
Unfortunately HMD has goofed up just like Nokia did.
Is it so hard to implement 3G in these phones?
For that price I would expect atleast 128mb!!
does anyone know if any of these run whatsapp?
Nokia should be fined for littering the earth with such useless phones. Comeon bring a good senior citizen phone for which a maeket exists.
Anonymous, 17 Jul 2017havent you heard of power banks ?
for $15 you can buy pretty good one
also different sizes ... morepower banks are heavy and inconvenient to carry around,
for someone who just wants a convenient backup option, such devices makes perfect sense.
small, light and plenty of juice to make calls/text.

Anonymous, 17 Jul 2017HMD is headquartered in Finland.Yes, so what?
Haha well, they are what they are. I mean in other words, you are ultra limited. So mainly they are targeted for nostalgia. Or for children and elderly. But I really respect their battery endurance, and it's nice too that they sort of re launched them, with refreshments.
Current design pays homage to great (yeah, they were great for the price) Nokia phones 1280 and 100.
But, I liked design of previous generatio 130 more.
Anonymous, 17 Jul 2017Owned by chinese regardless. Even if you build the HQ on Mars or Pluto it still chinese. HMD isn't owned by chinese , stop spreading desinformation.

The single sim variant is waste of space, nobody will save the 50 cents for single sim
