Lol Apple copyright Sony's idea to make the power button a fingerprint sensor when Sony already released it on the XPERIA Z5. Well if Sony enabled the fingerprint sensor function in the US I guess it will not be a disappointment. But I am glad my international XPERIA XZ got the fingerprint sensor enabled :)

AnonD-504722, 17 Jul 2017First they remove the headphone jack, now they remove the home button. Whats next? power button?Home button is throwback to the first iPhone. At the time it made perfect sense for the new UI "if you are lost, just press this button". Today, with consumers well versed with mobile touch UIs is no longer necessary.

Why not utilize the apple logo on the back to the fingerprint reader... Would that be such a bad idea?

I dont know why,but i feel that apple start to losing its magic, only their latest chipset wont be enough in this day competition, for me the last best iphone was iphone 5s and after that all start copying and all same hardware until this iphone 8 ,even the design getting lost ,apple was great when with steve job on that old day
