-_+, 18 Jul 2017please don't tellme you think Samsung And Apple phones are Not Chinese ???He was referring to the OnePlus 5, which is Chinese. In case you didn't know, there have been a few major issues with this brand and model in particular.
Like benchmark cheating, jelly scroll effect, now this.
My thoughts are that the phone reboots because of the software incompatibility between the chinese spies and nsa's surveillance software :))
its trying to save your life.
otherwise you will be shot by american cops for caling 911 like that Australian lady recently.
ShadowJaiz, 19 Jul 2017Wow, Thats cool. its a new shortcut to reboot your Phone no need to click power button.A new cool way huh?
What a great idea by oneplus! They teach you not to depend too much on police and instead use your skills and depend on yourselves. Police will appreciate this.

Anonymous, 18 Jul 2017Thank god, my wife's OP3 doesn't have this bug.how fortunate....

-_+, 18 Jul 2017please don't tellme you think Samsung And Apple phones are Not Chinese ???Please study first. Samsung is a Korean Giant which has it's own factory. Samsung is Korean made.. Apple on the other hand is made by Foxconn which is chinese manufacturing company. But they also do have factory in India... so just stop trolling around
On the positive side, OnePlus is teaching its customers not to rely on 911. Just learn survival and defense skills. Anyway, your OnePlus phone will save your life since it is equipped with life-saving features.
Anonymous, 18 Jul 2017Jelly effect issue and now 911 issue. Chinese crap.please don't tellme you think Samsung And Apple phones are Not Chinese ???
ResolvePi, 18 Jul 2017WTF? How is this even possible unless a rogue OnePlus engineer sabotaged the firmware. The pho... moreYou are wrong, as emergency numbers are special in the way *any* network reachable by that phone has to accept your call (regardless of carrier or even if you have a SIM inside). The phone does not behave like that for all other numbers (ie. flood all networks -- even those you don't a SIM to authenticate -- with requests to perform a call), it needs to know what are the emergency numbers to allow to do that.
This phone wants you to die with it!
OnePlus should change their slogan from Never Settle to We Lied, We Cheat, We Steal..
Jelly effect issue and now 911 issue. Chinese crap.
Is not a big issue when you hold a really fast phone and dont have time to call emergency when they crash - because is so fast they dont gonna crash so you wont need to call 911. xD
TechLover1, 18 Jul 2017Definitely not good, hopefully they'll fix it sooner than later. They couldn't even fix the horrible camera app, so don't expect them to fix that. I went back to p10 plus, just for the camera. I now see that op doesn't care about its users.
New update: 911 received over 50.000 emergency calls today, with the following message. Sorry, I was just checking if gsmarena was right about the Oneplus 5 bug.
Cheap Chinese Products :(
It's really weird feature I have ever seen... Impressive
