zodiacfml, 19 Jul 2017amazing. they'd rather recycle the used Note7s than reselling them.They can't sell them because they explode and they don't want to push the Note FE everywhere because the Note 8 will be out in a month.

why would they do that?. samsung can simply sell those by fitting those small battery. I believe note 7 is better than note 8.

I think selling users' old Note 7 phones for further cheap, might've been a better idea.

They can just flash the software, check diagnostics and sell them, what's the issue? Why this unnecessary meltdown?

You can try a diy solution. Rry buying the note 7 fe battery and replace it yourself. Do a calibration afterwards.
