Remove the "Ticker screen" to make the phone shorter and this is a perfect phone.

Trump fan 1980, 20 Jul 2017 I was thinking the same thing. They could add a Snapdragon 660 SoC...Snapdragon 820 > 660

Reasonable If the final price is less than 400USD.. Otherwise I call it dead on arrival

It's another disappointment from LG if it has non-removable battery.

Moreover, they reduced the camera resolution from 16MP to 13MP, but the pixel size remained the same (1.12um). So no benefit from the lower resolution (maybe they did this to reduce costs).

I'm curious whether this phone have a single camera glass or have separated camera glasses? Because LG G5 V20 and G6 have shattergate which means fragile camera glass, since they have a large single piece of glass. And the larger the surface area, the more likely it will break from direct pressures/impacts, phone drops, and more surface to collect scratches which will lead to crack. That's why those LG phones have fragile camera glass. They break even in your pocket. The small, separated camera glasses would be much more resistant to these problems.

But who cares. If it has non-removable battery it's a deal breaker anyway, and V20 remains the last good and last real smartphone forever.

LG has mastered the art of making an underwhelming and disappointing device.

I don't know why you're all tripping. the 820 is a great soc still and if you're not doing heavy gaming it'll do you very well.

xXoXx, 20 Jul 2017dont make sense since this SoC performs equal the 660! They need to empty their 820 stock, tha... moreAm 100% sure the snapdragon 8xx series perform better than the snapdragon 6xx series. So i support their choice of SOC.

Likeswhisky, 20 Jul 2017Will it bootloop? I'm a scarred & embittered G4 owner. I'll never buy an LG device again. I was perfectly happy with my G4, until the dreaded bootloop issue.

Likeswhisky, 20 Jul 2017Will it bootloop? I'm a scarred & embittered G4 owner. Yes, it will, like all other since LG G3. Bootloops and SOC solder problems after 1 year are included in LG flagships.

If Xiaomi have a overstock of SD 625, LG have one with SD 435...

LG desicions make look Xiaomi like the decent one!

Stop LG, don't ruin more the name of their own flagships!
