What's wrong with Moto? First they remove the headphone jack, then they put in a small battery for the Moto Z, and now even the Moto Z2 Force gets a small battery?

fullmetaljacket, 21 Jul 2017They're forcing customers to use their Moto Mods... a that sounds unfairYea like they tried with the lack of 3.5mm jack (And again the small battery). I believe it didn't go too well. But i'm yet to see a manufacturer who learns. They just keep going with their madness against customers and themselves.

MKL, 21 Jul 2017Every Mod is gimmicky other than battery pack. So Lenovo decided to downgrade battery to sell ... moreOf course, because they want a higher provit. But those mods aren't gimmick. It gave more feature than edge screen, dual screen, squeeze-able edge, or etc.

It sucks of Lenovo to do this because a moto mod battery pack isn't as efficient as a built-in battery i.e. the battery pack charges the internal battery, not the phone directly and it's inefficient. Meaning the phone has to be a lot fatter, using a battery pack, then if it was just built-in. So if you want good battery life your phone now has to be a lot fatter. It's such a lame design decision imho. =(
