Moto is selling back cover for $20, wireless charging for $40, larger battery for $80 and speakers for $80. They want you to buy all these to "complete" your phone or you can just pay a bit more initially and get a phone with all these features built in
Thinner phone, but not really considering that giant camera bump. They are banking on Moto mods but then the phone will be too thick. Can't win when you buy Moto flagships. :)
Motorola is stuck with their stupid MotoMods design decision, for years now. 2700 mAh battery on a flagship ? Why even bother...it will be useless.
Well, there is definitely so much to say, about different points. But to make it brief as much as possible, 99.9% that/ this is the main reason why, quote: "cough *Moto Mod$* cough." But at least, yes, let's hope that the SD835 will be enough to compensate for it, for a day (at least, hopefully).

No need to tell everyone
Not every phone should be made for you
Where is the Headphone jack....????? Headphone connect with charging port....????
If it does not come in Europe like predecessor i do not care, but... it is understandable that Lenovo decreases the battery because of the modules.
I have Moto Z, and the battery is really a problem with this processor, and with the price of the battery modules i am still having the 2600 of Moto Z.
If i had Moto Z Force 1 i won't change to these specs.
So let's hope to have at least 3000 like z2 play, and bring the device in Europe.
PS: Any news with Moto Z2?
And I don't use Moto Mods and don't plan to. I don't get it why one could make such strange decisions?
A flagship device should have at least 3000 mAh battery at minimum.
If this is true then this is a pity and unfortunately I won't buy this phone as I have planned.
I wanted to buy it because of its clean, almost pure Android experience (Google launcher, other Google apps like Messaging, Photos etc.). I tried my friend's Moto Z Play. I don't rely on Moto Mods, I use a phone case. So it wouldn't be reasonable to buy a "flagship" device that has smaller battery than all the other flagships on the market right now and also smaller than its lower-end siblings.
Motorola was known for phones with huge batteries - it's a shame they forgot about it.
AnonD-680481, 21 Jul 2017200 mAh is what you find in a $20 toy helicopter, you sure it's enough? The sarcasm went over your head, didn't it?
"The 21MP camera's performance is excellent in all lighting conditions, including low-light scenarios, as long as you have a steady hand."
Well, this is the camera performance in gsm arena review previously. And now syddenly it became the averagely performing camera. So weird.
