Yes Glass makes the phones look beautiful like the sandwich design on the GALAXY S8. But Metal makes the phone not only tanky, but also premium and durable. Glass once it falls to the ground say bye bye to the beautiful phone. Metal when it falls only minor damages are seen on the outside

Metal's the best material as it offers more advantages overall. Fragile glass can get ruined in one drop and cost you hundreds of dollars to fix. So you choose between looks, a cover or walking like a turtle.

POLYCARBONATE (Nokia made) is far better than aluminum in absorbing impact of drops... Reason why plastic is last because the plastic known by participants of this survey know only the cheap quality manufactured by Chinese or Korean oems ...

Well, basically in most ways i agree with the article, etc. Although there is so much to say in regard. (To be honest (extra side note) I just woke up (here is still 8AM plus Sunday) so... Haha).

Now all the metal and glass backed phone owners put a polycarbonate case around to protect it or better grip. So it is the overall winner.

Not surprised at the result, I have the S8 Plus, its an absolutely gorgeous phone and I love the fact it hardly has any bezel and all that, but I feel I have to put the thing in a case to protect it, kind of ruins it a bit for me. I mean whats the point in having a beautiful designed phone if you have to cover the thing up?
I might be in the minority but I would prefer to pay a couple of hundred $$$ or ££££'s extra if the phone could be used for daily use without cases and screen protectors and all that!

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2017Do a poll on how much of ram for smartphone is enough. Well that depends on the OS. iOS users will say that 3GB is enough whereas android users will say 4-6GB is enough
