Zenodroid, 23 Jul 2017Yeah Samsung should have stock with the note 5 design, but still use bigger and better batteries. Yes, I'm a big fan of that design. A solid-looking rectangle with slightly curved corners and rounded back. The old A5 has it but with metal.
Humble people prefer flat screens coz they dont understand they physical world too well
The Best is Flat Screen with apply your own 2.5D Tempered glass for protection.

Flat. Edges are a pricey gimmick. And it makes your device more vulnerable. I'm OK with curved backs though.
Curved glass is the best, screen protectors are bad even on flat phones.
I'm surprised that so many people are fine with curved screens and I think it has more to do with people considering trying one out rather than actually using one. I have, and I never want a curved screen again.
This will be another bumper season for Apple as crapsung has f**Ked up yet again.
They've just succeeded in alienating all users who dislike curved screens (me included).
And their CEO was telling ridiculous lies the other day that the S8 is selling more than the S7 & S7 edge, but he cannot explain why the price of the S8 is dropping faster than chicken droppings.
In fact S8 and S7 edge are about the same price in some areas, with Samsung introducing all kinds of incentives for people to buy the S8.
I'm looking to replace my note 5, but the S8 & S8+ are not even an option, you drop them once on the pavement and then you cry after.
Whearas, iv dropped my old Note 3 countless times, and it's still going strong.
Akinaro, 23 Jul 2017curved screen look cool but dont have any real/useful function, most of it are just fancy addo... moreOnly flat screens. Curved glass phones do not have good screen protectors.
Anonymous, 23 Jul 2017Curved screen ofc. Flat screens are so 1990s.Phones that could take a fall off the table or pocket, is also so 90s ;-) today they break if you just burp at it.
Flat screen ALWAYS!!!. you can put screen protector and don't touch those edges. 2.5D glass is much better BUT again screen protector is smaller than display surface. Shame on you samsung that you will force us to buy curved screens. Not to mention that they are at least 100 euros more expensive
Flat screens obviously. curved are the most useless and irritate ever invented. just tell me the purpose None! i was a Samsung Note Lover from Note 2 till 5. i've been for to buy s8 and its was the most ugly and useless thing ever.i still have Note 5 and i'm still happy though
Flat screen is best option. Its durable and not pain in the ass while holding . Lg g6 and s7 is one of good ecample.
Obliviously flat screen because protector and no prone to scratching or breaking in one fall.
Also there's way less light reflection on it.
People away curved never see the worse, flat screen don't have cons
I've been using a s7 edge for half a year, and I can only say that the curved screen is the most useless gimmick whatsoever. Not only it doesn't have any benefits at all, sometimes it's even a hindrance. You get phantom inputs which you didn't intend to do, and screen elements that are laying on the border, on the "edge", are hard to touch and get right. This is very poor design, and it's a shame that Samsung is now using it on all their smartphones. Shame on you, Samsung!
Flat screen and slightly curved 2.5D glass is the best, and fully flat screens are fine, either. I think curvy screens are just as awful as curvy women.
curbed screens phones are not much comfortable... especially we face lot of problems in finding better tempered glass :d
Curved screens don't add anything significant, and is very prone to breaking.
If it drops on the curved glass - 100% cracks even if its Gorilla Glass.
I like the S8 but having no flat screen option kinda makes it bad.
