All these useless features I won't even bother to use. Artificial intelligence has limits. Remember how Microsoft CEO was embarrassed by Cortana? Lol. As usual with Xiaomi, it will take several months to reach their phones. Nothing major here, folks..

Well, I tried to watch the live streaming, and in fact I did, but it was in Chinese, and unfortunately I'm too far from excellent in Chinese, but I just put it as a small pop-up window and continued on here, etc. As a first impression, the updates of the MIUI 9 over the 8 are not really huge, but they sound quite significant, and hey, all positive updates, etc., are always welcome. Yes, with the help of many people with local version of MIUI, yes MIUI is used in that many countries, with that many different speaking languages. Xiaomi.eu is one example of that, where many people just use Xiaomi phones because of that external, non-paied, support.
And I agree with the past comment: 2.8 Billion people is more than one quarter of the total population of the World (7.5 Billion). Assuming all Chinese people have a Xiaomi smartphone (1.37 Billion), still there would have to be 1.5 Billion people outside of China using Xiaomi smartphones. But I guess if China and India population combined all use Xiaomi smartphones (1.37 + 1.31 = 2.68 Billion), that number can be true (ironic statement). amxa, 26 Jul 2017No way xiaomi hash 2.8 billion active users - that's a third of the mankindIt's not 1 person : 1 MIUI device (some people do have 3 active phones, for whatever reason), not to mention MIUI also runs on their TV (Box). I believe they just count everything.

Please bring option for launcher with drawer like EMUI 5.0. I don like current launcher in which all apps appear in front and i dont like creating forlder.

if xiaomi has more than 2.5 billion users ; then apple and samsung should has 10-15 billion users LOL ... xiaomi is not any more AS 3rd to 5th manufacture PLUS it never was as best or most popular / used custom ROM ... lineageOS and its retired ROM : cyanogen was more common by far
