Imperator Neubaticus, 26 Jul 20176gb is plenty good enough for now. No doubt 8gb will make it perform better. I just dont need it to.6 GB will hopefully be enough for a few years (if you are not into VR). Optimized ROM with removed bloatware (Bixby) is more important.

Only recently, 8GB of DDR3L/DDR4 became the base standard for PCs/Mac. Phones are growing in RAM faster, but 16GB of DDR4 costs 200$. LPDDR4X RAM upgrades will be a lot more pricey.
Off course, you can settle for phones using the rest of the LPDDR2 RAM unused stocks and eMMC 2 storage.

Imperator Neubaticus, 26 Jul 2017I dont see why id personally need 8gb of ram, but that 256gb internal storage sounds awesome. Phones are not lobotomized by windows . That means that the more you give them the more they use.
A bit of how 1TB of storage is better than 120GB of storage (you *are* going to use it eventually), that's how more ram works. Given that phones rarely reboot, eventually they end up with most stuff on ram. That means that after a few weeks your phone is blazingly fast (everything runs of ram).
And given that android O kills memory bugs and battery leaks , you won't have an issue by basically uploading your whole is on ram. If you think about it in that way 8 gigs are still few. Most use more than 10GB of data daily (OS + apps used + daily web content)...

I don't know why there is no demand for a bigger battery. I mean, Samsung must have done something like make more room for a bigger battery or invest in researching bigger capacity small form factor batteries.
A 3600mah battery or even a 3500mah battery is a must. Definitely not the speculated 3300mah. Any software optimisation will wear off over a year or two. What other innovation does this phone offer to cost so much? Like, more than twice how much it costs to produce a phone like that? Has samsung become like apple ? Just caring about gaining profit and have people buy new phones every year?

The memory spec is a joke and gimmick to make a fanboy or a spec hunter fall into to buy this,plus it will very expensive $1k for a phone?,8gb of ram is gimmick,4gb ram is already good enough for daily usage,256gb is alot,but its gimmick and good reason to put it at higher price ,even my 7 years old laptop with 250gb only fill about 60% ,i not a hater ,think logically its a phone,not super computer,
