Hotkolbas, 27 Jul 2017Well microsft are still acting like jerks even after they stuffed nokia up.
I always wonder... more"I always wonder what nokia would have done if MS didnt aquire them."
-They would've announced bancrupcy
"...even after they stuffed nokia up."
-You mean after they scamed MS with their overinflated assets?
P.S.just check which was the worst buissines deal in for the last 20 years.
Great. I'm excited to see what Nokia-branded phones will bring in the future.
This is great news! HMD also needs to acquire the remaining Nokia mobile assets and factories from Microsoft, including the Microsoft Talo (previousely Nokia House)! Additionaly, HMD must revive the very highly succesful Series 40 software platform (for non smartphones) because the Series 30+ was made by Microsoft and Nokia, and of course, Series 40 is purely Nokia and far superior than Series 30+ !
Still Microsoft holds more important patents.
Impressive! I do not have point barring: Naughty Nokia
Now you see me...`~} in fact HMD was great cover
Hotkolbas, 27 Jul 2017Well microsft are still acting like jerks even after they stuffed nokia up.
I always wonder... moreMicrosoft do not own patents for the tech behind clearblack and pureview.. they only own the trademarks..
Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 have clearblack display ( polarised filter ) ..
Hotkolbas, 27 Jul 2017Well microsft are still acting like jerks even after they stuffed nokia up. I always wonder... moreClearBlack is good to go but not yet with the PureView, it's ok for now tho since HMD already have Zeiss
Well microsft are still acting like jerks even after they stuffed nokia up.
I always wonder what nokia would have done if MS didnt aquire them.
Anyhow I hope they relinquish the clearblack and pureview patents bwcause thats what I want to see on the next leading edge nokia
Anonymous, 27 Jul 2017so hmd is not licensing nokias tech, they are trying to eat nokia, im sad for nokia, im not go... moreOk firstly, HMD are buying this from Microsoft Mobile, so they're not 'eating Nokia' but actually the very opposite. They're bringing back the old Nokia stuff that MS bought.
Secondly, C3 and C5 ran on Series 40, not Symbian.
sounds interesting
when you say transfer do you mean like for free
or some kind of payment like preinstalled ms services
Anonymous, 27 Jul 2017so hmd is not licensing nokias tech, they are trying to eat nokia, im sad for nokia, im not go... morethey are trying to acquired those tech from Microsoft s2pd, when will you understand that?
Anonymous, 27 Jul 2017so hmd is not licensing nokias tech, they are trying to eat nokia, im sad for nokia, im not go... moreNo , HMD has licenced all other patents from Nokia .. These are just some design patents which Microsoft bought .. Nokia doesn't want to invest anymore in Phone business directly and take the risk ( after surviving near death because of phones ) hence HMD is financing these stuff... otherwise there would be no need of HMD ...
don't forget Nokia is a board member of HMD and has rights to deny sub par quality phones..
if HMD business starts becoming successful , Nokia may just buy HMD later..
so hmd is not licensing nokias tech, they are trying to eat nokia, im sad for nokia, im not gonna buy any nokia from hmd, the true last nokia were those.C3s.and.C5s with Symbian os :)
