Sami all our phones are active - I have not seen anyone put their mobile phone in the closet for safe keeping.
Now that this secret is out of the closet, all your high end phones should be MILT 810 G certified. I am pretty sure people will choose durability over looks if the price was the same.
Please make all your high end phones IP68 and MILT 810 G Certifies.

If Active came on the S8+ series and the Note8I would have grabbed one. For Millionth time: i care less about slimness as long as I can get better battery and more ruggedness.

The S8 is not pretty, it is ugly. At least the S8 Active has better design.
"As a downside the added ruggedness and larger battery have significantly boosted the weight to 208g - that's over 50g more than the vanilla Galaxy S8. Thickness has also increased to 9.9mm."
That's the upside.
But who cares. It still has non-removable battery and only will be available exclusively in USA at a mobile operator.

Now this I would get, with the 4000mAh battery, flat SHATTER-RESISTANT screen, and armored shell.
It has NO glass back, NO useless curved screen, and NO compromise to being a thin device with the sacrifice of battery. 9.9MM thick - it can be done! I do not even mind it becoming more thicker by 2MM so it can house 6000 mAh worth of battery, and I would not be having to worry about battery life with the heavy use I do with my phone.
Just too bad that this is ANOTHER AT&T exclusive.

jesus christ 5.1 audio is a speaker configuration it has nothing to do with bluetooth version

9-10mm is no downside, I'd take that over 6-7mm if the battery is bigger, any day of the week.
