Whatever says by Nokia... everyone can see SAMSUNG coming fast with Android... with WP7 i don’t think Nokia can save their position in market on next 06 to 12 months. Because earlier market reject Windows OS. So how can we imagine WP7 will successes? . Android is the way , if it’s not as Charls Davin’s word Nokia will “ Naturally Vanished “ from the market .

To Nokia:
Enjoy revamp and rebranded Ovi service
Because come 2012, Nokia phone users will have to use the Windows Phone Marketplace.
"After Nokia replaced its CEO, migrated to Windows Phone 7, changed its font, moved Symbian outside Nokia and dismissed 4000 employees, today we witness another big thing – it gives up on the Ovi brand."
Hahahahahahahahahaha...
OK OK, enough of laughter... We will see if this is a good or a bad thing in the future, but I have a bad feeling about this. :(
If you have an Ovi Mail, I think they will still retain your "@ovi.com" but if you want to sign up, I think it is "@nokiamail.com" or "@nokia.com"
I'll gonna DELETE Ovi Store application on my Nokia 6710 Navigator

good.... just provide us with new applications and themes....
Another reason why Nokia loses its popularity is its batteries. Lot of fake batteries in the market and i wonder why Nokia stop its online battery authentication system which you scratch a number On the battery and check it online whether its original.
They should've just left it as Nokia Ovistore & Nokia Ovimusic....like Appple AppStore and Apple iTunes. Nokia Services sounds very generic and not attention-grabbing.
PeteB, 16 May 2011Ovi was an incredibly stupid name anyway. Just what the hell did it stand for. Good riddance t... moreThe name actually meant "Door" in finnish and seemed quite appropriate if you understood that.

why not give up the whole of nokia? it has no product that can compete this days anyway...
This is a good strategic if not dicey move by NOKIA. Brand building is one thing but rebranding is an another ball game. By centralizing branding NOKIA will gain a greater strength in the market.Other should take cue. Recently many big companies have been reevaluating their brand structure. Ovi was one word I liked in the NOKIA fiefdom. Good luck guys & Godspeed an yes thanks for Connecting People
shame on a failed strategy nokia, own up!
I always wondered why Nokia would choose the word "Ovi" - stupidly I didn't think that it might actually mean something in another language! Unfortunately - although I have to say the latest version of Ovi/Nokia Maps is AWESOME - it's still not something that actually makes their offering any better.
Whats going on, I just read at TWITTER that a russian site tels microsoft is going to buy Nokia for 30BN dollars.....
