Camera looks disappointing. Zeiss optics won't even matter if the aperture's going to that small lol...

With these large bezels, I hope Nokia 8 comes with a pair of exellent quality stereo speakers. I currently own a Galaxy S8+ and I can tell that I am no fan of these vertual back and home bottoms that will appear by sliding your finger up. I can live with narrow bezels if it means stereo speakers and a fingerprint scanner on those otherwise useleas bezels.

Did you saw abou... more3,5 and 6 were the first phones from them .. they took time because they were setting up service centres , setting up sales channel , making new partnerships .. etc and later there were some issues with manufacturing because they didn't anticipate demand properly ..
all these issues should not be there with release of Nokia 8 .. Nokia 8 is already being mass production since 1 month.. and HMD is not going to repeat the same mistake .. so this is why they did not announce Nokia 8 earlier .. i am sure it will be available to buy in august itself

Just now playing with it for a couple of minutes.. very fast & camera has 3 sensor.. above flash is where Monochrome sensor locate & a pair RGB + Telephoto seat on top.. Rear are 13mp.. front 12mp.. can said 97 to 98% close to stock Android..

Unknownymous, 31 Jul 2017I don't think that it is not LCD nor AMOLED just because it has a cloudy effect on the screen.... moreIt can be told that it is an LCD because the lighting was probbably not that good (means no reflections on the screen) when that photo was taken, and even if the Nokia white logo overexposes the camera, the remaining black screen portion still must be as black as its black bezels, indicating that there's no backlight and conclude that it is an OLED screen.

Take a look at the phone, it is wrap with plastic. Normally it will look like it has a backlit on it right? Let's wait for the unveiling of this device instead.

So, the buttons can't be reversed I guess. So a no from me. I was too long with Samsung (first smartphone was a Samsung Galaxy - nope, not 2 or 3. 1!) and since then, I'm with the "Back is right"-thing. I can't and won't learn the other way... Good phone, nothing to complain it seems. It's just my personal thing, I can't get used to it.

No AMOLED display. :((We might miss out on AMOLED on N8 but hopefully, can see it on the N9
Also, the lack of branding missing is cause it's an early prototype.

[deleted post]Is that the same finishing back as u11? The back looks like it was shot 3 times tho, the previous leak, with black color was better. 4K on selfie, that's great news especially for vloggers or travellers
