Zenfone2 could have been a good deal...4Gb RAM etc. But turns out, they needed the large RAM just to keep up with the rest, tiny RAM competitors. So the Zenfone spec is good for nothing. The Asus Chairman mentioned in few years ago, they produce value phones so everyone can afford good phones. And that they'll use Intel processors for Hi-End phones and Qualcom ones for low end. All these are implemented the other way around with Zenfone 3. Not sure how well the 3 is selling, but, I am very sure none or very few Zenfone 2 user will every buy another Asus product. The 2 is crap just like the 5. Couple with their legendary 'Painfully BAD' service and support system, yuck!

Even a decent update they do. The worst company I have ever seen.
Another ZenBug phone from Asus. Hey asus, thanks for nothing! My Zen2 (flagshit) is now in trash bin, after bugs and more bugs (always without a single word about solutions). If you wanna buy something from this trash company, please go to the zentalk page and see what users think about their phones.

Anonymous, 02 Aug 2017Nope, ZenUI has good perform. Even the bloatwares can be unistalled. You trolling or what? I own a Zenfone 2 laser 5.5 for 2 years now. Random restarts, unresponsive swipe, fb crash just to name a few. I can't wait to upgrade from this nightmare. ZenUi is big NO after what I experienced.
ZenUI is way more worse than GraceUX
Just like the old TouchWiz it became slow after some months and i really hate the cluttered look of it.
Asus is lazy and usually late, hope they will launch it before the market is flooded with better phones..
Gokai Pink, 01 Aug 2017Oh my God, Kuya Kim!can't wait
Wow, dual camera! How innovative!
Rip Asus You wont be missed!
Not sure how Asus has evolved for the past few years. Most of the zenfones I seen many years ago have a very dimmed display. That the only reason I dont like them. Plus, their phone is super large and heavy.
BUT.....do they have RGB like their motherboards? :3
Anonymous, 02 Aug 2017Nope, ZenUI has good perform. Even the bloatwares can be unistalled.I don't think you own an ASUS device...
Some (or majority) of its in-house applications CANNOT be uninstalled but can be disabled.
Even so, disabled apps will still take up internal memory space.

As a previous owner of ZEN Devices, they usually sacrifice an important spec.
EXAMPLE:
My first PadFone (1st generation) was amazing performer back then with an amazing camera BUT with a very low battery
My FonePad has good screen and good build with good speakers BUT the performance was sluggish over time
Zenfone 2 was amazing BUT with ALOT of bloatwares and unneeded softwares which will cause regular performance stutters.
So far, the only stable phone I got was the Selfie BUT the camera should have been the latest at that time given its price.
Ritzie, 02 Aug 2017I wouldn't mind the price if the Performance was at par or more than amazing... However, as a... moreNope, ZenUI has good perform. Even the bloatwares can be unistalled.
zodiacfml, 01 Aug 2017true. Asus smartphones aren't cheap.I wouldn't mind the price if the Performance was at par or more than amazing...
However, as a previous owner of multiple ASUS Zen devices, they're known for ALOT of bloatware and heavy-running ZenUI.... those 2 really slows down the performance.
now they do better look and chip, really snapdragon 835, hope the UI design new, i dont like the old huge icon, its really ugly
The camera better be top notch seeing as they're using the goblin in their ads. It maybe wishful thinking that ZenUi will become less buggy and less bloatware in this upcoming Zen 4 series.
