iPhone 5 and 5c will not get iOS 11. iOS 11 doesn't support 32bit devices.

Will be interesting how iOS11 will perform as it dropped iPhone 5/5c, which many people are still using. I can say iOS10 will linger longer as iPhone 5/5c are still running okay on iOS10 (unlike the 4S on iOS9).

I have an Android phone that is naturally slowing down and the decrease is really not the same thing compared to my iPad. Every time I updated the iPad, I could definitely see a decrease in performance. I never wanted to update as I said earlier but Apple was so obnoxiously sending notifications to upgrade that I couldn't stand it anymore. BTW, Apple doesn't let u "downgrade" an ios version.

So many immature comments on here.

I have both a Pixel and an iPhone 7 (for work), both have pros and cons. Obviously Android is more flexible with the sort of software you can run (which is both good and bad), whereas iOS' battery management is leagues ahead. Especially when using location

Sure those old Apple devices got the updates.. But they never got the new features because of imposed limitations.. So the updates are basically just to update the number version and nothing else.. As an Android user I don't care about updates because even my xperia ray from 2011 with android 4.0.4 Ice cream sandwich has lots more features than the iOS10.. There are many android users who are infected with the update craze which originated from Apple.. Seriously we buy phones not for updates.. We buy phones to use it.. As long as it works there is no need for updates

Lol this is why I hate apple. Everytime I upgraded to a newer version, my iPad would get slower and slower. Even if I didn't want to upgrade, Apple kept sending me notifications everyday to make me upgrade which in my mind is just intolerable. Today, my iPad is just unusable and simple apps like safari keep crashing after loading small web sites. Even iTunes wont even load anymore. FYI, when I started experiencing these things, my iPad was only 3 YEARS OLD. I've heard a lot of people saying that Apple is doing this on purpose to make you want to upgrade to their newer products to make money. You take my word: Never buy Apple products.
