Why doesn't Gsmarena report on the abnormal price of this device in India? It hasn't budged from Rs 57,900 ($904) while G6 has gone as low as 36,000 ($561). I thought Indians were price conscious. But here they are, letting Samsung literally loot them.

Note 8 going to be the same 2 to 5 month and price will drop same as S8 and S8 plus.

I just bought an S8 in France for 700 €, including a wireless charger, screen protector and case...not bad.

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2017In Romania, the S8 has been released with 790E,now with all discount you can buy with 720E... :(Then order via Amazon Germany. I think 570€ is a fair price for this phone.

That is why we see thes... moreFor a lot of people even a day not the 3 months period make the difference and pay the extra of 150 to 200 euro. And they know it they are not feel as stupid as you think. And no I haven't buy from the day one because the last 5 years Samsung follow the same strategy.

That is why we see these huge discounts. In Germany, the S8 has been released end of April with 800€. Now you can buy it via Amazon for 570€. Within 3 months the device lost 30% of its value. Samsung is not treating its first minute customers well. Everybody that has bought the S8 soon after release must feel very stupid now.

Nice, Nice. This is a great news! I will probably buy the S8+ when the price goes down, after 7months I will buy it just like what I did on my Samsung S7 Edge.

Here in Europe carriers today released top 10 best selling phone list from last month, S8 wasn't in any lists, S7 was in every list bottom end, it looks like S8 selling better than S7.
I think Samsung screwed when they said S8 selling very well. So far every month in our best selling lists have show'n very opposite.
But in the end S8 was very minor upgrade If you don't put much weight for infinity screen.
