Sales doesn't mean much as Sony is a multimillion company that focuses on everything. Smartphones are only the tip of the Sony iceberg.

Even XA1 can reach 6494K while S8 only 6700K.
Oled will show red as red, not orange-ish

Why Sony is so unique? And Samsung just like crap? The S8 is lightweight with bigger screen that's mean more plastic in used, don't crying, that's true, Samsung doesn't use titanium to reduce the S8's weight. The rounded corner or square of phone is fine, it is the designs. Cheaper price means more plastic that you want, Sony use quality materials as you can see the selling price.

They're making less money out of their phones so they've reduced other costs like advertising budget, testers (the Movie Creator app that was pushed recently...) and so on.
So YES, they have made wrong marketing choices, but they've just also made savings in-home
