For a bluetooth enabled, pressure sensitive, angle sensing stylus the apple pencil is fairly priced. Have a look on amazon (eg. pencil 53 or adonit pixel)
You are in a lecture where you don't have printed handouts (Which is the new "green" policy at many universities). There is a diagram (or picture). You don't have the diagram (or picture printed) but you get the powerpoint slides (or pdf). Good luck replicating the diagram and take notes as the lecturer speaks. This is distraction.
You can print 100 slides a day if you prefer, or try to take notes using a $1 stylus without accuracy and palm rejection for 3-4 years. Your hate for apple is blinding you.
With so much cash in hands, why not to build iPhone killer, and destroy competition? :)

And besides, GOOD note taking apps are out there for YEARS. They work with or without the NEED of iPad Pro Pencil palm rejection. A normal iPad equip with a normal $1 touch stylist is more then enough for student usage.
However pen and paper still the best, less distraction.
Anonymous, 02 Aug 2017*cough* Sony sold how many? lol *cough*Samsung sold that number a couple of years ago. Android as a whole sells more than 1.2 billion smartphones in a single year.
Gobi Stark, 02 Aug 2017I am the only one who is using normal pencil and pen for my education.....You really wanted to make me sound stupid but you have failed. Lecture slides involve pictures and diagrams. You take notes as a lecturer talks about a specific slide. good luck doing this on a paper (that doesn't have the slides printed on it).
Mate, google made a living from selling personal data and from using it, its a service company. Apple is not, they dont have an use for the data.
Like Apple doesn't spy on us? And billions of people all over the world uses Google services like their Search, Gmail, Maps, and YouTube. As long as we log online, we are being spied on. Facebook does the same thing. You will be shocked how much info FB has on us. Or any social network for that matter. Any OS can be hacked into. The Fappening/iCloud hacking, anyone?
The best way to never be hacked into? Never put any information on a computer and online. Log out, turn off the computer, unplug it. Hackers can even use the front camera on your phone to spy on you. Check the 60 Minutes short on hacking phones. Don't be so gullible that iOS is 100% safe. None of them are.
Guys, don't fight. I am an iPhone user but I have also used Android phones and tablets on the side. Android is a pretty good system and for many people their daily driver. It is not for me as a primary phone because it is not fast, stable and consistent enough but not everyone have my usage. There is no wrong choice picking based on personal preference
Nobody cares, 02 Aug 2017Have fun with your lagdroid!Have fun with your not so smart phone.
after all keeps being the best in real life.
I started with android but left my pride behind and recognized the truth after trying.

Fantastic news I guess. The 8 will look good too. Congrats but not surprised at those prices. However the other flagships and what's still to come, are truly giving savvy shoppers now more enlightened reason to stop and pause, so as to be more discerning in their choices in late 2017. The offerings are beautiful and first class and financially more friendly. Eg, Pixel 2. Nokia and possibly U11 etc. Choose wisely.

Sooo smooth, sooo fast. The 120 htz display is reason enough to get it over other devices. Yes it is expensive but worth every cent.
