Would have been so much better if the top cut out is a screen too. It just plain annoying to see that. Like LG V20 secondary screen with a small cut out for camera on the side. Very annoying to look at. If they can put embedded front camera under the screen that would be freaking innovation! Just saying.

Don't need to upgrade anytime soon. My next upgrade will be the Pixel 3 next year with Android Pie. Both Samsung and Apple don't appeal to me even when I try to like them both.
