Its apple always the leader..but dissapointed with no 3.5m headphone jack.luckily iphone se has it.
Kucma, 04 Aug 2017I hear you. Came from Note 2 to iPhone 6s Plus and have the same issue with contacts managemen... moreDon't get me wrong. The note 2 is still a great phone actually. Obviously lacking in a few areas. But overall great. A little slower now but still perfectly fine with daily usage. Still feature rich, great display, alright battery life, can be gotten really cheap, and better quality in headphones than newer phones still. And dev support is not what it was but still up there.
Samsung really could have given it lollipop at the very least though.
But just hecause of upgraded, chip, camera, and software support you should try the new note or a nice htc or sony fromt this time frame
Record 4K in 60fps in 4K.d (+version 5.9") is really special happen from fruit
I remember the oppo with rotating camera module, this should be done internaly on all phones, would save space and upgrade the front camera.
It would just be adding a rotating mirror module to the oppo periscope module

Oh right, on the 750p display of their iPho... moreIf you record a lot of moments through the years, you'll understand why people want 4K and that is to future proof the quality. When you look back at some of the videos recorded in 480p, it's really a pain to watch. even 720p now is a pain unless you watch it on mobile.
As much i didn't like apple, i still thank them for popularizing fp scanner, and brought 120 fps capture
Not only that, they even had it at 1080p, no android phone can do that, and this rumor stepping the video game up more
xXENDER FREAKXx, 04 Aug 2017And 4K 60fps recording will definitely heat up the smartphone more if the thermals are not tha... moreThat's for Apple to worry but knowing them, they won't release it until it's stable enough not to affect other aspect of the phone experience.
I wish they'll have it. In fact, i wish they have slowmo recording at FHD with at least 480fps so the other manufacturers will do the same. But as the the writer says, Apple won't want customers to have everything at once and he's right, Apple has always been doing that since they are the leader.
When even the midrange Snapdragon 625 can do 4K @ 30 fps, then the latest iPhone flagship doing the same @ 60 fps, with some adjustments or a new codec is not unbelievable...
I would however love to see 1080p@240 and if possible 720p@480 too, it might require mounting RAM on the camera itself, like Xperia XZ Premium did.
Although, I'm not into iPhones but might consider one if its that awesome....
vikramtpm97, 04 Aug 2017I wish iOS 11 could have the basic functionality of deleting multiple contacts. I have to inst... moreI could not agree more with you. iPhones are good phones, hardware wise, but with a really backward OS. *After* buying an iPhone, I discovered at least 20 basic things (one of which is the example you quoted) that are stupidly wrong with iOS.
I am so irritated with iOS that tit-bits like 4K 60fps recording, AR, bezel-less display and quick software updates would do nothing to get me to buy an iPhone again.
An even more amazing thing is that *none* of the iOS vs Android phone comparisons ever highlight how broken iOS is, functionally.
did you miss the part where it says 60 fps? note 3 was doing 4k but at max of 30fps. and no other phone today films at 4k 60fps, hell, few phones films at 1080p 60fps.
xXENDER FREAKXx, 04 Aug 2017And 4K 60fps recording will definitely heat up the smartphone more if the thermals are not tha... moreTell me about it. Bur the average buyer is dumb. He sees big numbers and says "Oh my 20MP? This camera is better than the iPhone 7 or the S8". Same goes for RAM and CPU clockrates. So at the second Apple will advertise this phone as "Capable of recording videos with incredible details at 60 images per second, two times more than the last gen, making the video come to life", people will say "Ooooooh! Two times the images?!?!?!?!?!!!!? MUST BUY NOW!!!". That, and also other weird features or the portage from other OEMs of certain "features" like inductive charging (what is also known as Wireless charging) or a file manager.

Came from Note 2 to iPhone 6s Plus and have the same issue with contacts management. Lots of things I really like about iOS in comparison to Android but man if they would just make some basic stuff work! Or for example sharing and adding contacts is just as equally an unnecessary pain.
