I really hope they can add much more "PREMIUM" materials to the compact version of a high-end flagship. XPERIA X COMPACT feels very plastic since it has polycarbonate sides but other than that the rest of the body is made out of ceramic which also makes the whole smartphone look plastic. And also I really hope they will not downgrade the specifications of the compact version since they are the few smartphone manufacturers that still have compact smartphones and plus they are one of the best compact smartphone manufacturers, downgrading like XPERIA X COMPACT would be kind of a disappointment, if they made the same specifications like the XPERIA Z5 series then they can get more profit

Remember when the XZ was still in rumors? AnTuTu also detected that as 8mp+8mp combo when it actually had 23mp and 13mp.

nickname, 04 Aug 20178mp + 8mp now what great tech sony has come out with?This is the standard res for taking photos, but you can choose higher resolution in the camera app. Benchmark apps are not good at taking resolutions.

8mp plus 8mp is strange, maybe that's just the default resolution of the rear camera and it's the 19mp one.
Maybe its dual sensor and has that and 19mp.

(Z was used with other company as well like Motorola and Lenovo so since that could cause a bit of a misconception I would have had to give u some credit for calling it bad but what's wrong with XZ? X means it's Xperia and Sony and the Z is the flagships sign just as A is middle ranger's.

AnonD-626371, 04 Aug 2017Yeah. 8mp/8mp is very strange indeed. It is because antutu and other benchmarking apps do not show more than 8mgpxls on xperia phones. I had xperia x compact, and on antutu it still showed 8mgpxls. I think it's some kind of limitation from sony.
