The forgot to mention that on 25th all those phones will actually receive a beta of the MIUI 9 not a stable version, or stable global rom.

Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon and the 4x are basically the same device with Different names according to the region hence whenever the 4x gets it the 4 snapdragon will also get it BTW for mediatek it make take a little bit longer as Chinese users where most of the mediatek devices are sold don't care about android version they just care about iPhone Clones with iOS like ui.
