Anonymous, 04 Aug 2017you mean immature kid like you? You may be older than me, but it seems like you're the one that's the kid, judging by how little you know.
So may I excuse me to you my brother and I'll just continue my research of facts.
Anonymous, 04 Aug 2017Its worth every penny coming from AppleHahahaha....cause it looks like an iPhone.....bwahaahahahaha.........yawn.......
1. Unique design? - like what, a star shaped screen? That would be unique
2. Tad lower price? - Yeah, but you can apply that to everything really can't you........
3. Software support after 1 year? - with you on that one, will have to wait and see though.
Got it here in the uk (via a vpn) and have been running 4.5.7 for a few days previously. Can't say I'm noticing either battery drain or improvement, but the 4K EIS works very well. Comparible I would say to what I've seen on the pixel, would have been nice if they applied the same to 1080p@60fps.
Obi Wan Kenobi, 04 Aug 2017The complaints just keep on piling for the OnePlus 5.With most other companies the complaint would just be ignored and no updates would ever appear... no other company acts so fast on any issues found.
If only they focused more on getting stuff actually working rather than cheating for benchmark numbers...
OnePlus 3T user here (and a satisfied one at that!): My advice to friends using OnePlus phones is not to jump at updates too quickly and wait for an update to get validated in the hands of other users, instead. Sending an update out and quickly rolling it back due to reported issues is something that happens too frequently with this brand.
So to those who deeply bashed Sony for having just a minor fixable performance-related software issue (which was just addressed in less than a week), I pity you for not thinking widely. No OEM is ever perfect, and no one will ever be, but you act as if Sony's the only manufacturer that commits mistake.
You see, on OnePlus, their software isn't perfect either, and they will probably take longer time than Sony to resolve the issues, but you people will say that OnePlus is just taking some time to fix this, but for Sony, you'll say that it's the end for them.
Technology was very fun to talk about, until the immatured fanboys started talking.
