I wish there was a home button there. ... moreIf the leaks on the Pixel 2 XL are accurate, It looks like it will have the perfect amount of bezel to be able to grab onto the phone but not so large that it makes the phone necessarily large compared to screen size. The S8 and likely also the Iphone8 suffer from accidental triggering of screen just by trying to hold the phone since the bezels are so small.

I dont like those bezel less phone to easy to break them.

All that would happen, is that more of the screen would crack, when compared to the amount of bezel that would crack.

Although I broke my S8 screen soon after I got it, its still functional, just as any other phone would be if you break the glass on the front. The bezels don;t really help protect anything. The only issue I have had with the bezelless design is having somewhere to reliable grab the phone without accidentally triggering touches on the screen.

Actually LG makes the Pixel 2 XL, The smaller Pixel, which this appears to be, I think is still HTC.

I will also take stereo speaker with bezel over super fragile bezel less phone.

I wish there was a home button there. Also, the top is thicker than the bottom of the phone in order to hide the camera bump. I wish it were not so as it's too thick to hold properly in one hand, in order to reach the opposite side.

The Government of Canada has lied in the past and were caught modifying data/statistics to suit their agenda about another topic. The USA is constantly lying about many things. NASA is always lying. Most 'known' scientists are controlled and forced to publish data to suit their owners' agenda. A lot of data you acquire for your university (about certain topics) is most probably half-true, because the sources they use are controlled, whether for good or for bad.
Tell me, then, if you are so wise in your own eyes.
How come many, including me, get headaches when we're around a lot of wireless products?
You absolutely cannot deny, nor reject, personal proof.
There were lots of conversations and articles about the dangers of wireless over 10 years ago, where some media outlets were still posting some truth. Suddenly, it's mostly suppressed, and in some cases, praised.
Talking on an iPhone for 5 minutes causes me a headache because their SAR levels are higher than other phones. I can talk on some phones (LG and Samsung phones, if I recall correctly) and not have a problem as their SAR level is lower. Everyone has their own sensitivity level, of course.
But surely you must know more because your research so indicates ;).

AnonD-632062, 07 Aug 2017In reply to the question posed, nope, nothing can justify killing the 3.5 mm headphone jack.I can make a rational argument for it.
However, the more important thing to discuss is that photo shows TWO new Pixel phones.
And they both look equal height, but a large difference in width. As if one has a 18:9 aspect ratio, while the other has a 16:9. If that's not the case, and they're both the same aspect ratio, it means one of the devices has a lot more bezel than the other device... and that's a major concern for a flagship.

Just look at the size of those bezels. Front speakers or not..there's no excuse for them to keep doing this. Even Apple who were king of bezels are leaving those behind with their upcoming iPhone 8.
I am pleased Google went with someone else with the Pixel 2XL even tho I am not a fan of the elongated18:9AR screens... would've rather liked to see a full screen 16:9ar screen.
If HTC continue with huge bezels in 2018...sorry it will be a tough go for them, cuz most major OEMs have moved past humongous bezels.
